Grant-making is the predominant activity for most foundations although some are exploring other ways of addressing the economic, social and environmental challenges of the 21st century.

Without the support of these trusts and foundations we would not have been able to:

  • run a project dedicated to supporting children and young people who have fled domestic violence with their mothers and are living in our women's refuge
  • provide a welcome pack for every child and young person staying in our women's refuge
  • complete the refurbishment of our customer reception and resource centre
  • deliver a range of acivities and programmes in our Community Learning Services to support people to develop the confidence and skills they need to live independently and secure financial independence through engaging, training or securing employment
  • produce our hard-hitting film 'Damage' to raise awareness of domestic abuse issues
  • set up our Youth Support Network dedicated to care leavers in Stoke-on-Trent
  • develop our Wise-Up! project to support young people who are drinking dangerously or excessively.

                                THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
