Volunteer Role:      Warehouse Assistant

Department:  Arch Head Office  

Responsible to:  Community Learning Transition Advisor

Time Commitment: Flexible - minimum of 3 hours commitment per week

Main purpose of voluntary role:

To work as part of a team in dealing with deliveries and stock rotation.

Tasks Description:

1. Dealing with requests for and preparation of food parcels.

2. Stock rotation- checking dates and sorting items into the correct order.

3. To unload and sort donations.

4. To keep the garage clean and presentable.

5. To attend training and other support meetings as necessary.

6. To uphold Arch policies such as the equal opportunities and health and safety policy.

Your main base of work will be in Arch Head Office, Canalside, Pelham Street, Hanley.
