Volunteer Role: Relationships without Fear Assistant
Department: Domestic Violence Services
Responsible to: DV Manager/Education & Community Co-ordinator
Time Commitment: Minimum 3hours per week
Main purpose of voluntary role:
The RWF programme is a six week programme for children aged 8 to 16 which promotes the building of positive and healthy relationships and thereby minimise the risk of abusive relationships developing
Tasks Description:
- The volunteer will assist in the effective delivery of the programme and training package in primary and secondary schools
- To prepare and maintain resources necessary for programme delivery
- To record and collate data from delivery
- To promote the project by attending networking events as required
- To establish and maintain good working relationships with other agencies and practitioners
Volunteers are reminded to:
1. Adhere to the principles of confidentiality, for example do not discuss your customers details out in the public domain including your home environment.

Conditions of Role:
The agreement between Arch and the volunteer is not intended to be a legally binding contract between the parties and may be cancelled at any time at the discretion of either party. Neither of us intends any employment relationship to be created either now or in the future.
Prospective volunteer for Arch will receive relevant training pertaining to their area of work, followed by an induction period of one full day.
Your main base of work will be in Hanley, Stoke on Trent, and/or at local satellite sites. There may also be occasions where visits to relevant agencies or events are necessary.
