Volunteer Role: Project Activity Support
Department: Elizabeth House
Responsible to: Project Manager and Coordinator
Time Commitment: Minimum of 3 hours per week
Main purpose of voluntary role:
To assist the project staff in providing support to the customers of Elizabeth and Tolkien House
Tasks Description:
- To assist the project and duty team to provide general support to our customers, particularly new residents who may require additional support on admission to the project
- To deal with our customers needs as identified and requested
- Any other appropriately agreed tasks whether practical or emotional
Volunteers are reminded to:
1. Adhere to the principles of confidentiality, for example do not discuss your customer's details out in the public domain including your home environment.

Conditions of Role:
The agreement between Arch and the volunteer is not intended to be a legally binding contract between the parties and may be cancelled at any time at the discretion of either party. Neither of us intends any employment relationship to be created either now or in the future.
Prospective volunteers for Arch will receive relevant training pertaining to their area of work, followed by an induction period of one full day.
Your main base of work will be in Hanley, Stoke on Trent, and/or at local satellite sites. There may also be occasions where visits to relevant agencies or events are necessary.
