Volunteer Role: Painter & Decorator
Department: Property Services
Responsible to: Property Services Coordinator
Time Commitment: Flexible - minimum of 7.5 hours commitment per week
Main purpose of voluntary role:
To work as part of the property services team, providing a painting and decorating service in Arch premises and residential housing stock.
Tasks Description:
1. To paint and decorate Arch premises and residential housing stock in line with the planned maintenance programmes.
2. To maintain accurate records of painting and decorating carried out.
3. To liaise with suppliers confidently and effectively.
4. To undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by the Property Services Coordinator.
5. To attend training and other support meetings as necessary.
6. To uphold Arch policies such as the equal opportunities and health and safety policy.
Volunteers are reminded to:
1. Adhere to the principles of confidentiality, for example do not discuss your customers details out in the public domain including your home environment.

Conditions of Role:
The agreement between Arch and the volunteer is not intended to be a legally binding contract between the parties and may be cancelled at any time at the discretion of either party. Neither of us intends any employment relationship to be created either now or in the future.
Prospective volunteer for Arch will receive relevant training pertaining to their area of work, followed by an induction period of one full day.
Your main base of work will be in Hanley, Stoke on Trent, and/or at local satellite sites. There may also be occasions where visits to relevant agencies or events are necessary.

A full driving licence.
