Arch is a charity in North Staffordshire which provides accommodation, services and support for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

The organisation helps around 2,000 people each year from Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme and the Staffordshire Moorlands, including single people, families, women and children.

We aim to support anyone in our area who is disadvantaged and needs extra help. Some of the things we do are…

  • Give vulnerable people somewhere to stay while supporting them to develop essential life skills before moving on to their own home
  • Work together with our clients to keep their homes or move to somewhere more suitable
  • Help people to develop new skills and become more confident, so they can get into further training or find a job
  • Support women affected by domestic violence through group or one-to-one sessions, or provide them and their children with refuge accommodation
