Floating support
The Floating Support Service provides support to:
- People seeking alternative accommodation who are homeless or who are vulnerably housed.
- People who have been through Arch Supported Housing and who now wish to move into their own accommodation.
Eligibility
Assistance Provided
Housing
- Provision of information on tenant rights and responsibilities.
- Assistance in making housing applications and advice about transfers and exchanges
- Liaison with the local authority and other housing providers.
Finance
- Information and advocacy on benefits and grant applications
- Help with managing money
- Assistance in arranging budget plans for your bills.
- Help in dealing with rent and housing benefit
Moving into the Community
- Help with finding grants to assist with setting up home
- Help with sourcing furniture
- Practical support with moving in
- Ongoing support to help with managing the tenancy
Accessing Services
- Assistance in gaining access to other appropriate services such as the NHS, Social Services, Statutory and other voluntary groups.
Applications
Applicants need to complete the Arch Referral form.
Applicants from our shared accommodation will be referred by their key worker.
Applicants will attend an interview before we can consider them for the service to see how we might help with their needs.
