Information for Families
Family Support Network is a partnership of local charities and non-profit agencies who have agreed to work together in a way that is new and innovative.
All the partners have an equal say in how the Network runs and share a responsibility to provide services to families.
The Network is coordinated by a team who are based at Arch North Staffs and made up of workers from different agencies in the Network. This means that the Network has a mix of skills and expertise behind it.
The Network works with families who already have some support from other services but could use some extra help.
We work with each family for up to three months following a unique plan of support that has been agreed with them.
Each family's Support Plan is different and will make use of the partner agencies in the Network so families don't have to wait for more referrals to go through or go on long waiting lists. It will also support families to use other services and agencies available to them.
Champion for Children, which is part of an organisation called Voluntary Action, will be evaluating the Network. They will contact each family to ask them for their opinion on the service they have received.
