Professional Training
Arch provides structured training programmes for professionals throughout North Staffordshire who work with victims of domestic violence and abuse.
The aim of the training is to keep the victims safe, by encouraging uniform positive responses and appropriate referrals and signposting.
Following the course, participants will:
- Have a better understanding of domestic violence
- Understand how domestic violence affects both victim\survivor and their children
- Gain an understanding of the extra pressures experienced by marginalised groups
- Identify good practice when working with victims\survivors and their children
- Have a knowledge of Risk Assessment and Safety Planning
- Understand the importance of working together when responding to domestic violence
In addition to the above Basic Awareness course, Arch also provide bespoke training packages based on individual agency needs assessments.
