Working One-To-One

Arch is a leading provider of the Domestic Violence outreach service available locally to all individuals in North Staffordshire. The project provides practical, emotional, and advocacy support to victim/survivors both in their own homes and in easily accessible community venues.

The Freedom Programme is part of our outreach service, but in addition, we can also offer some One-to-One support to victim/survivors of Domestic Violence.

We do understand that although group work has proved to be a positive experience for many people, there may be reasons why some might feel that group support is not right for them at this present time. If you have a service user who feels that sorting out their problems is proving a struggle, having time to talk to someone who shows understanding and has time to explore with them how they may feel could prove to be helpful!

Arch's Domestic Violence Outreach project work in a person-centred way, which means that the client is in control, and the workers are there working alongside, to support and listen.

Appointments usually last for approximately one hour on a weekly or fortnightly basis and this arrangement is reviewed on a regular basis to ensure the service is meeting a clients' individual need.

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT.
