The Domestic Violence Helpline at Arch (North Staffs) is a confidential telephone support service which aims to make a difference to the lives of those experiencing Domestic Violence.
The helpline is staffed by a team of trained and supervised volunteers. They receive calls from individuals who need to talk to someone about the abuse they experience. They may need information about legal, housing or children's issues to enable them to make informed decisions about the future, and they may make referrals to other specialist services, e.g., solicitors, police and counselling agencies if such help is appropriate.
Helpline volunteers are able to give relevant information and support to the relatives and friends of those experiencing Domestic Violence and also acts as a consultancy service to other professionals
