Internship Role: Business Development & Fundraising Intern
Department: Business Development
Responsible to: Head of Development and Quality
Time Commitment: 3-5 days per week
Duration: 6 Months
Working within the Business Development department at Arch will provide a background and working knowledge of fundraising and business development in the voluntary sector. This opportunity will equip the placement with valuable workplace experience in the business development profession and to learn how Arch raises funds through a variety of income streams.
The role will provide:
- A background and working knowledge of business development and fundraising in the voluntary sector.
- An opportunity to support the Head of Development and Quality to research, develop and initiate a range of bids and tenders to ensure that Arch is successful in maintaining its current funding streams and build on any secure new income and business.
- An insight to fundraising through a variety of income streams, including Events, Trusts and Foundations, Corporate Fundraising, Direct and Legacy funding and Tenders and Bids.
- Experience in raising income through the writing and timely submission of funding bids and tenders.
- Opportunity to assist in the development and implementation of marketing initiatives for Arch including promotional events.
- Experience in preparing and securing of bids, sponsorship and funding.
