Newcastle Voluntary and Community Services 2010
'Celebrating what's great about the people and communities of Newcastle'
In our line of business we come across so many outstanding individuals each and every day so putting forward nominees for awards is always a difficult task!
We were delighted when our nominees were recognised for their contribution and were presented with their awards at a prestigious Gala Evening held at Keele Hall at the end of November.
Arch were extremely proud to nominate:
Sharon, an ex-Arch customer, survivor of domestic violence, and co-founder of 'Voices of Experience' (women's support group) won the award for Person of Inspiration award
Linda Thomas, our retired CEO received the Outstanding Contribution award for her selflessness, devotion and service to the community
Knights LLP received the award for Business Contribution of the Year for their work supporting Arch and other charitable organisations locally

Knights LLP receiving their award for Business Contribution
Barry Riley from Knights said:"We were given a wonderful recommendation by Arch for the award of Business Contribution to Volunteering, and were very fortunate to win! The award reflects the real community spirit in our area and recognises Knights numerous activities over the course of the last year, and the firm's dedication as a whole, to getting actively involved in the wider community. The trophy we received is now in pride of place on reception!"
