ISO 9001 Quality Award
Arch receives internationally recognised quality mark
Arch is extremely proud to announce that, following external audit on 6th July 2011, we have been recommended for ISO 9001 certification.
The internationally recognised standard for the quality management of businesses shows our commitment to quality, to our customers and, our willingness to work towards improving efficiency.
Pulling together the work of such a diverse organisation that has grown over 20years from an office with just two people in to a business with a £3m turnover has not been an easy task. So we were delighted when the auditor commented that he had very few observations to make for improvements and identified no 'non-conformities' which he described "as a first in his 7 year history of auditing". He was also extremely impressed by the dedication, of the whole staff team to the process and is even looking forward to coming back for the next review!
The award is truly reflective of the values of Arch and the great work we do. ISO 9001 accreditation follows our award last summer recognising our status as an Investors in People organisation for 10years (one of only 3000 organisations nationally) and more recently the award of the Positive about Disabled People quality mark.
As a sector we are now taking ourselves more seriously. Quality has always been crucial to successfully operating our businesses and achieving an award proves that we can both successfully operate and compete in the same league as the private and statutory sector. It also shows our customers, our stakeholders and our employees that we are committed to being the very best we can in providing essential support to so many vulnerable people.
