A decade of Investing in People
Arch has received an award in recognition of being Investors in People organisation for 10years. Arch is one of only 3000 organisations nationally to have achieved this.
At the beginning of August staff, volunteers and Board of Trustee members were interviewed over a period of 2 days.
Some of the key report findings included:
Staff consistently described themselves and their colleagues as being "passionate" about their roles and spoke of the commitment that they have to Arch's customers. They talked about their enjoyment of working at Arch and their loyalty to the organisation. There was an understanding of the need for continuous improvement and to ensure that this happens on an ongoing basis.
There was much praise for the performance management structure and saw it as being helpful in future priorities and continuous improvement.
Staff have a strong belief in the leadership team and feel that the organisation is being well managed to face the challenges of the current economic climate.
Paul Bridges, Arch Chief Executive Officer said "I'm really proud of Arch achieving this award it is a fantastic achievement demonstrating an ongoing dedication to people and a commitment to continuous business improvement".
Buoyed on by the comments of the review, Arch will be aiming for the Bronze or Silver Award at their next review.
