The Lock supported housing service

• The Lock aims to provide accommodation and support for young people with substance misuse problems. We provide this support and relevant treatment in partnership with Turning Point and Combined Healthcare N.H.S. Trust.
• Our 6 bed spaces are offered to young people aged 16 to 19 who need support to overcome drug or alcohol use. Residents also participate in a structured Day Programme and Independent Living Programme.
• Each resident is allocated a named key worker who will work with them through the Independent Living Programme (I.L.P.) to develop life skills and move on to appropriate permanent accommodation
• We provide a high level of day to day support, and an out of hours on call service is available for all residents.

Eligibility Criteria

• Single People
• Aged 16 – 19
• A drug and/or alcohol issue
• Willingness to participate in assessments and support plans with The Lock Young People’s Treatment Service
• Homeless or in Housing Need
• Willing to accept Housing Related Support
